STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in the Holy Scriptures accepting fully the writings of the Old and New Testaments as the very Word of God, verbally inspired in all parts, our infallible and authoritative rule of faith and practice.

 

We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons. We believe in the deity of Christ, the virgin birth, His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, and his ascension into heaven.

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, of righteousness.  And of judgement to come, and by His indwelling presence enables Christians to live in Godly life.

We believe that all men are, by nature and choice, sinful and lost.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith, that salvation is the free gift of God received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that all believers possess the gift of eternal life.

We believe in the existence of Satan. We believe in the imminent return of Christ for his church and that his second coming from heaven will be personal and visible.

We believe that a New Testament Church is an organized body of baptized believers, practicing two scriptural ordinances given to the local church; baptism by immersion of believers only, and the Lord’s supper to be partaken of by obedient believers.
